Experience the transcendent power of choral music at the Asiwaju of Remo Christians Choir Festival, where voices unite in harmony to uplift spirits and inspire souls.
Rooted in tradition and infused with the vibrancy of artistic expression, this annual celebration stands as a testament to the enduring legacy of faith and music.
THE ORIGIN
The genesis of the Choir Festival traces back over 16 years, originating as a component of the annual family thanksgiving gathering of Otunba Engr. Gbenga Daniel at the prestigious International Ecumenical Worship Centre, "ABRAHAM TABERNACLE" in Sagamu, Ogun State.
Conceived as a tribute to honour the memory of his late father, His Grace, Most Revd Abraham Adebola Daniel, JP, this event has blossomed into a cherished tradition deeply entrenched in the spirit of communal worship and artistic expression.
A CELEBRATION OF HARMONY
Renamed and rebranded as "The Choir Festival" in 2022, the event has blossomed into a vibrant congregation of voices, resonating with the theme of "improving the art of singing in our churches".
Spearheaded by the visionary leadership of Otunba Engr. Gbenga Daniel, the Asiwaju of Remo Christians, this festival transcends mere musical performance, serving as a conduit for the dissemination of spiritual enlightenment and moral fortification.
THE VISION
At the helm of the Choir Festival stands our esteemed Festival Director, Dr. Opeyemi Adeyinka Asaolu, whose passion for music and commitment to excellence have guided us on this remarkable journey.
With the support of a dedicated team of organizers and volunteers, we strive to uphold the highest standards of artistic integrity and spiritual enlightenment.
2022 & BEYOND
Now in its fourth triumphant iteration, the 2025 Choir Festival promises to be a testament to the enduring power of music in fostering spiritual communion and cultural enrichment.
Set against the backdrop of the revered Abraham Tabernacle Church in Sagamu, this year's theme, "Messiah My Father", encapsulates the profound reverence and gratitude we hold for our divine benefactor.
